FAQ's & Tech Support

For the second time, the annual Walmart Canada Patient Care Conference will be held entirely virtual. If you attended the conference in 2021, you will be familiar with the format. If this is your first time attending a virtual conference, rest assured detailed information on how to take full advantage of all the features, and a step-by-step guide on how to access the platform will be sent prior to the event. The below offers a preliminary overview of what to expect:

CONFERENCE EXPERIENCE - WILL I NEED TO TRAVEL ANYWHERE?

No. The entire conference including live sessions, regional breakouts and vendor fair will be accessible from the comfort and safety of your home, from any device connected to the internet (we strongly recommend a computer to take advantage of all features). You are expected to join the conference from your home and will be compensated for your time. We ask that you do not join the conference from a store terminal.

WHAT IS REQUIRED FROM ME?

You will need access to a computer and an internet connection. Watching live, online video content requires a minimum internet speed of 25MB/second which is fairly standard. You will be attending the virtual conference for approximately 6 hours each day, therefore we recommend that you find a quiet, well-lit and comfortable area in your home.

LUNCHES AND BREAKS?

Frequent 20 to 30 minutes breaks have been scheduled into the program. Walmart Canada will provide lunch allowances, that way you can take advantage of meal delivery services.
